While introducing a new hack to your routine can result in more thorough cleaning, you don’t necessarily need to complicate things to see better results. In my — and the rest of the AT team’s — experience, sometimes it’s as simple as snagging a new tool or swapping your less efficient gear for something better. For instance, ditching my old, basic vacuum for a vac-mop made my floors reach a level of cleanliness I’d never seen before. The same thing happened when I stopped wiping down my stove with paper towels and took a chance on an electric spin scrubber.
One cleaning issue that I have yet to solve, though? Dust. It seems to settle everywhere in my apartment in the blink of an eye. So far, I’ve just been using paper towels (I know) and I’ll admit that I’ve completely given up on a few hard-to-reach areas. (I don’t even want to think of the state underneath and on the sides of the fridge.) However, I just found a tool that makes light work of eliminating dust around the fridge, stove, washer, and other tight spots: E-Cloth’s $18 Cleaning and Dusting Wand.

What is the E-Cloth Cleaning and Dusting Wand?
Of course, the most noteworthy feature of this tool has to be its narrow shape that can get into virtually any area — including cracks, corners, high surfaces, and gaps that a paper towel or cleaning cloth just can’t get to. Even though it’s three inches wide, the duster extends your reach by a whopping 29 inches. The microfiber wand, which you can leave dry or dampened, will gather dust, cobwebs, and even pet hair like magic. The fibers are long and soft, so they’ll grab onto the debris and won’t allow it to spread back into the air. After it gets all of the grime, you can rinse it off or toss it in the washing machine, and the brand claims that it’ll hold up through up to 100 washes!
